André Bowen is currently living and working in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales.  André lived in Leipzig and Berlin, Germany for ten years after studying at the National Art School, Sydney, Australia.  André was selected as a finalist for the Hurford Hardwood Portrait Prize at Lismore Regional Gallery 2018, finalist in the 2018 Border Art Prize and the joint winner of the Paddington Art Prize Defiance Gallery Award for 2018, which led to an exhibition at Defiance Gallery Mary Place in 2019.
